SHA vision

This is your last opportunity to comment on the SHA vision documents and to influence the future direction of healthcare in your area.

Each SHA has now published its "vision" document, which is the SHA's strategy for the delivery of health care in your area over the next ten years. Each SHA had focussed on eight clinical pathways - Staying healthy; Mental health; Maternity and new born care; Children's services; Planned care; Acute care; Long-term conditions and End-of-life care.

The RCSLT is preparing a response to these. To help shape this please consider the following questions:
1. What opportunities are there for SLTs in the vision documents?
2. What areas can and should SLTs be leading on?
3. How can SLTs help to deliver the recommendations?
4. How can SLTs help the proposals to address the important issues?

Please return your comments to the above questions to Claire Moser, Policy Officer at the RCSLT by 12 August.

You will find your local vision document on the Our NHS Our Future website.
