Put the 2009 RCSLT Scientific Conference in your diary

Book your place today for the UK's premier professional forum for the speech and language therapy profession and save money. The theme of Partners in progress: spreading the word is sharing ways to improve working with communication and swallowing problems through clinical development and research.

The 2009 RCSLT Scientific Conference will provide an interactive forum for practitioners, researchers and educationalists from speech and language therapy and related disciplines.

Here, you will be able to advance your knowledge and practice; hear about new innovations and research; and network with colleagues in related fields.

The Conference will be an important continuing professional development (CPD) experience for many delegates, coming as it does 6 months before the Health Professions Council begins its first regulatory CPD audit of 2.5% of the SLT profession in September 2009.

The programme

The Conference programme has now been announced, featuring a packed two days of oral and poster presentations, with four keynote speakers, plenary sessions, workshops and symposia. Topics cover the whole range of child and adult clinical specialisms, innovation and development; partnership working; diversity; and the latest speech and language therapy research.
